SJB MP Manusha Nanayakkara took over the official residence of former MP Ranjan Ramanayake at the Madiwela housing complex.

Ramanayake lost his official residence after he was unseated from parliament due to his conviction for contempt of court.

As a result, Nanayakkara became the new custodian of the house today. The SJB MP said he would looks after the house, but reserve it for former MP Ranjan Ramanayake.

"He will be back soon. I will look after this house for him as one of my own," Nanayakkara said.
