A heated exchange between Sri Lanka ODI captain Dasun Shanaka and coach Mickey Arthur is widely circulating on social media.

The incident took place in the aftermath of Sri Lanka’s defeat to India in the second ODI after a nail-biting finish.

Shanaka’s choice of Lakshan Sandakan as a bowler during the critical overs of the match proved costly as India scored over 70 runs in his 10 overs.

Meanwhile, referring to the video, commentator Russel Arnold said the discussion between Arthur and Shanaka should have happened inside the dressing room.

Responding to Arnold’s remarks, Arthur said the incident was insignificant as both the captain and him were frustrated after the defeat.
