The Movement for a Just Society, led by former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, yesterday convened an all party discussion of opposition parties to discuss the current situation in the country.

The SJB, the UNP, the TNA and many other minor parties in the opposition came together for the discussion and discussed the ways in which they can work together in the future.

Oppossition Leader Sajith Premadasa and constituent party leaders of the SJB joined the discussion representing the main opposition while Ruwan Wijewardena represented the UNP.

This was the first time the parties in the opposition came together for a common discussion after the current government came to power.
