Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa is expected to join Pariament next month, informed gvernment sources said.

It is learnt that Rajapaksa, the National Organizer of the SLPP, may also take oaths as the Minister of Financa and Economic Affairs.

Rajapaksa, who left for the US for a personal visit in May, returned to the island yesterday.

Informed sources also added that either Prof. Ranjith Bandara or Jayantha Weerasinghe might resign from Parliament to pave way for the SLPP National Organizer.
