Former Parliamentarian Duminda Silva is likely to walk out a free man today.

Silva, who was sentenced to death over the murder of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra, has been granted presidential pardon.

He was sentenced to death by the Colombo High Court and the decision was later upheld by the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka.
