The SJB conducted a vehicle procession today in protest of the fuel price increase by the government.

Members of the parliamentary group of the party joined the procession in buses, trucks, motorbikes and Tuk Tuks.

They demanded an immediate reversal of the fuel price hike given the difficulties faced by the public.

The protest coincided with the no-confidence motion against Minister Udaya Gammanpila which was handed over to Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena today.
