Former Prime Minister and UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said that a draft with a set of common policies to control the corona epidemic should be prepared by the President and the Cabinet as soon as possible.

Wickremesinghe said the cabinet-led draft should be discussed with the leaders of the opposition parties and their views should be taken into consideration.

The former Prime Minister said the draft should be presented to the country within a month after discussions with the medical professionals, businessmen and experts and that the laws required to control the epidemic could be passed under this.
