Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa, who is receving treatement for COVID19, said persons with disabilities and special needs should be given priority in COVID19 vaccination.
The Oppoition Leader said the "priority lists" for vaccination have excluded people with disabilities and special needs.
"According to the 2012 census, there are 1.7 million people with disabilities in the country and the vast majority of them are currently facing severe social and economic problems," he said.
Vaccination to control the spread of the pandemic is highly politicized, he said adding that the one's ability to save his life now depends on whether or not he is a supporter of the government.
