Six divisions, including the School Affairs Division, at the Ministry of Education, have been closed due to COVID19 fears.

A senior ministry official said that the units were closed due to the identification of COVID19 patients and their close contacts.

Meanwhile, officials of the Ministry of Education say that there are many employees in isolated areas and many activities of the ministry have been disrupted due to this.

All schools and educational institutions in the country have been closed down indefinitely due to the sudden upsurge in cases across the country.
