State Minister Nalaka Godahewa, a stalwart of the Viyathmaga organization said, the internal problems in the government must be addressed soon.
Commenting on the current political situation, Godahewa said certain elements were working to create issues within the government and this has become a concern for those who voted for the current ruling camp.
Godahewa made these remarks while addressing a public meeting in the Gampaha district.
The State Minister also said the popularity of the government had waned and the ruling camp must accept the reality.
"If we don't work together in harmony we will have a tough time facing the future elections. We must act judiciously and there should be no room for emotional fights," Godahewa added.
