98 Sri Lankans Have Died In Other Countries Due To COVID19

98 Sri Lankans have died in ither countries due to COVID19.

The Foreign Ministry said most of the victims were from the Middle East.

Accordingly, 35 Sri Lankans have died in Saudi Arabia and 21 in Kuwait.

At least 10 Sri Lankans have died in the United Arab Emirates, six in Qatar and five in Britain, the foreign ministry said.

Four Sri Lankans have died in the United States and Canada, and two each in Bahrain, Jordan, Germany and Italy.

In addition, one Sri Lankan has died in Israel due to COVID19, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
