Te 46th COVID19 death was reported by the Government Information Department, a short while ago.

The deceased is a 68-year-old male, resident of Imbulgoda, who passed away while being treated at the Maharagama Apeksha Hospital.

The cause of death has been identified as exacerbation of leukaemia and respiratory issues due to COVID19.
