36th COVID19 death reported this evening by the Government Information Department.

The deceased an 84-year-old female, a resident of Kandana, who passed away at the IDH in Colombo.

The government's statement said she had been ill for a long while, the nearest caused of death has been pinned to COVID19-related pneumonia
