The number of COVID-19 patients reported from the Minuwangoda - Peliyagoda clusters has risen to 10,451 as of this morning (09).

Of these, 1,041 are from the Minuwangoda Garment Factory, 1,007 are from the Peliyagoda Fish Market and the remaining 8,403 are from the contacts of this cluster,

Meanwhile, 412 employees of the Minuwangoda Garment Factory and 4,449 associates of the factory workers and employees of the Minuwangoda Garment Factory have been discharged from hospitals after recovering fully.

To date, 63,921 people have been sent out from quarantine centers run by the three forces. Another 2,409 people are being quarantined in 27 quarantine centers.
