A Ministerial Security Division Police Inspector and his two sons have been infected with the COVID-19 virus.

The Galle District Health Services Director's Office said that they were being quarantined at the Habaraduwa Nilapiyasa Quarantine Center.

The father and two sons were taken to the quarantine center yesterday (06) and are residents of Colombo 7 police quarters, according to the Office of the Director of Health Services.

The three infected are to be hospitalized for treatment.
