The Minuwangoda Divisional Secretariat is currently out of the COVID19 risk zone, said Minuwangoda Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kumari Jayasuriya.

She was speaking at a meeting held at the Minuwangoda Divisional Secretariat today regarding the control of Kovid distribution in the Minuwangoda Electorate.

She also said that recommendations have been made to reopen the three Grama Niladhari Divisions as the situation has been brought under control.

However, she said that this risk still exists in other areas in the Gampaha District and if the people of Minuwangoda follow the health instructions properly, the authorities can recommend that the curfew be relaxed.
