Those who are in quarantine centres now will be sent for home-quarantine after another round of PCR testing, Army Commander Shavendra Silva said.

He also added that those have been asked to quarantine will be receive rations from the government.

The government has made a decision to quarantine first contacts of COVID19 at their homes.

The government has imposed a curfew in the western province as the total number of COVID19 cases in the country has risen to 9000.

The Army Commander also requested those living in the Western province not to travel to other provinces before the curfew.
