Curfew will be imposed on the entire Western Province from midnight tomorrow until 5 AM Monday, November 2.

The Army Commander said the decision was made to prevent the spread of the virus.

Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara distrcts have been identified as high-risk areas for COVID19 with a number of police areas under lockdown.

However, the government continues to maintain that there has not been a community spread of the virus thus far.
