Seven children who are being treated at the Lady Ridgeway Children's Hospital in Colombo have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus, hospital sources said.

Three mothers with children have also been reported to be infected with the virus.

Meanwhile, a 2-year-old girl and her mother who came to the hospital for treatment were diagnosed with the corona virus on October 20.

The girl's father, a resident of Wellampitiya, has also been identified as an infected person.
