SJB Parliamentarian Harshana Rajapakaruna reqiested voters not to send "political prostitutes" to Parliament.
Speaking in Parliament a day after the adoption of the 20th Amendmet to the Constitution with the support of eight opposition MPs, Rajapakaruna said these political prostitues were inclined to trade their political suppport in exchange for various perks and privileges.
Rajapakaruna's speech followed a speech by MP Diana Gamage, one of the opposition MPs who supported the 20th Amendment yesterday.
Rajakaruna said the people particularly had a responsibility to enure that people of integrity represent the legislature.
