The 26-year-old Wellampitiya COVID19 patient who escaped from the Kosgama Hospital this morning has been apprehended at the Sahaspura housing scheme in Borella.

He was admitted to the Kosgama Hospital around 1.30 AM this mornng and but had apparently escaped a few hours later.

His hometown, Wellampiliya, is one of the six police divisions in Colombo which are currently under curfew.
