An employee of the Acuity Knowledge Partners Lanka (Pvt) Ltd on the West Tower 32 floor at the World Trade Center has tested positive for Covid-19 today (20), the managment of the World Trade Centre said today.
Issuing a statement, it also said that as per Acuity Knowledge Partners Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, the affected employee has last visited the building on October 2020.
Accordingly, the tenant has informed that their office has been closed, contact tracing completed and staff members who have been in contact with the affected employee will be subjected to PCR tests.
“A thorough anti deep disinfection of the floor including the washrooms and other common areas have been carried out, the statement stated.
“The World Trade Center and the tenant are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to take precautionary measures in consultation with officers of the Ministry of Health,” it added.
