Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake has been tested negative for COVID-19, Colombo Municipal Council Chief Medical officer Dr.ruwan Wijayamuni said.

Dr. Wijayamuni said PCR tests were carried out on 140 members of the Colombo Municipal Council including the Mayor.

PCR tests were carried out after an employee at the Municipal Council was tested COVID-19 positive on Wednesday. Ms Senanayake was subjected to a PCR test as she had attended the financial committee meeting of the Municipal Council on Wednesday.
