The Galle Magistrate has remanded Janith Madushanka alias 'Podi Lasi', who is believed to be an underworld member, until October 16.

He is accused of threatening President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, Defence Ministry Secretary Kamal Gunaratne and prison officials.
