Army Commander Shavendra Siva said that Police curfew has been imposed in the Veyangoda Police division until further notice.

He said that the curfew was imposed as a precautionary measures. Earlier today, Police curfew was imposed in the Divulapitiya and Minuwangoda police divisions.

A 39-year-old Covid-19 infected was found from the Divulapitiya area.
