President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa requested the members of the Viyathmaga organization to help the journey of the SLPP-led government.

The President yesterday visited the Viyathmaga office in Kotte for the first time after the Presidential election.

President Rajapaksa is also the Chairman of the organization which played a pivotal role at the last Presidential polls.

The President said the members of the organization must come forward and support various government entities in planning their way forward.

Some members of the organization contested the last Parliamentary election on the SLPP and obtained seats in Parliament.
