Former Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan, Former Eastern Province Governor M.L.A.M Hizbullah and SJB MP Mujibur Rahman arrived at the police unit of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into Easter Sunday attacks.

Hizbullah came under severe criticism from multiple parties over his alleged connections with Islamic extremists in the Eastern Province in the aftermath of the Easter Sunday attacks.

Former President Maithripala Sirisena, former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and a number of former ministers and ruling party MPs have already given evidence before the Commission.
