The curfew will be extended in Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts until April 27.

The government previously announced that the curfew in these areas would be lifted on April 22.

The announcement follows the discovery of 24 COVID19 patients from Bandaranaike Mawatha, Colombo.
