Thirteen new COVID19 cases confirmed, bringing to 15, the number of cases confirmed thus far today.

All 15 are from among those who were moved to quarantine centres from the Colombo area, Health Services Director General Anil Jasinghe said in a statement.

With this latest development, the number of active cases currently stands at 171.

So far, 269 people have contracted the disease in Sri Lanka.
