Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will be on a State Visit to India from 8-11 February 2020 on the invitation of Indian Prime Minister. Narendra Modi.
He will arrive on 7th February with a high-level delegation his official engagements will include delegation-level talks with the Prime Minister and a call on the Indian President.
After his official engagements, the Sri Lankan Prime Minister will travel to Varanasi, Sarnath, Bodhgaya and Tirupati. The visit is in continuation of the tradition of high-level exchanges between India and Sri Lanka.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited India in November 2019 immediately after his election victory.
