In view of the first confirmed case of Coronavirus in Sri Lanka, all citizens must stay vigilant, be mindful of information we share and consume, UNP MP Eran Wickremeratne said.

The UNP MP also said the people take precautions without giving into panic.

"Further, hope medical health professionals continue to honour their oath and prioritise the wellbeing of patients," he also added.

The government has appointed a Presidential Task Force to address the issue and adopted a number of measures to prevent the spread of the virus.
