Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri said CDs with telephone recordings were not tabled in parliament as stated by MP Ranjan Ramanayake.
Making a statement in Parliament, Ramanayake said five CDs with 15000 telephone conversations will be tabled in the House.
Ramanayake also requested the government to appoint a Presidential Commission to probe the leaked call recordings.
However, responding to Ramanayake's remarks, Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage said Ramanayake could reveal all before the judiciary and there was no imminent need for a Presidential Commission.
