Speaker Karu Jayasuriya said the Central Bank forensic audit reports on bond transactions between 2002 and 2015 will be made available to Parliament.
Making a statement in Parliament, Speaker Jayasuriya said lawmakers from both sides have requested him to release the report to the House.
The Speaker said there was no point in holding the report back until the appointment of COPE and confining the content of the report to COPE members.
The Speaker previously said the Attorney General had previously requested him not to make it available to Parliament as it would be used as evidence in court cases in the future.
The forensic audit report was done following the recommendations of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on the Treasury Bonds fiasco.
