A fire has broken out at a building in Hyde Park Corner, Colombo 2, our sources said.

Several fire engines have already been deployed by the Fire Brigade to douse the fire.

The fire has erupted at a private institute near the Ibbanwala junction, initial reports said.

Police are yet to make a statement on casualties.
