The Attorney General has filed a revision application against the Colombo Chief Magistrate's decision to grant former Minister Rajitha Senaratne bail on the controversial white van press conference.
Senaratne was admitted to Lanka Hospitals, Colombo after he an arrest warrant was issued on him.
The former Minister was subsequently released on bail, along with other suspects arrested in connection with the same investigation.
Former State Pharmeucital Corporation Chairman Rumy Mohamed was also among those who were arrested on the same matter.
The controversial press conference was held soon before the last Presidential election was aimed at discrediting SLPP candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
