Former Minister Rajitha Senaratne has been transferred to a normal war at Apollo Hospital, Colombo, informed sources said.

Senaratne was recently admitted to the ICU of the Cardiology Unit of the hospital following a "sudden illness".

The development took place after the Colombo Additional Magistrate issued an arrest warrant on Senaratne over the controversial white van press conference.

Senaratne was later granted bail by the court.
