Former Minister Mano Ganesan requested the government to take action against perpetrators involved in the Bond scam. Ganesan, a party leader in the UNF coalition, said the government was not fulfilling the promises it gave the public before the Presidential election.
"They talked about the Bond scam and the MCC agreement. What have they done about it?" Ganesan asked.
He said the government had only been successful in carrying out a witch-hunt against former Ministers Patali Champika Ranawaka and Rajitha Senaratne.
Ganesan also said the government had even failed to adopt a clear stance on the lease agreement with China pertaining to the Hambantota Port.
