UNP Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa who has been nominated by the part to become the Leader of the Opposition is expected to meet party supporters in Moratuwa tomorrow.

This will be Premadasa's first public appearance after he visited the Vauxhall Street campaign office following the defeat of the Presidential election.

The gathering will take place at Lagoon View Hotel, Moratuwa and is organized by former State Minister Eran Wickremaratne.

Sources close to Premadasa said the latter will attend several meetings across the country to meet the party supporters in the coming weeks.

They dubbed it as a decisive measure to strengthen the party before the upcoming Parliamentary election.

Premadasa's conspicious silence following the outcome of the Presidential election has become a cause for concern among the party rank and file.
