Dr. S.R. Attygalle will be appointed the Secretary to the Treasury.

The appointment will be made by new President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa who took oaths yesterday.

Attygalle held the same position under the 52-day government last October.

Dr. P.B. Jayasundara, who held the same position under the previous government, is tipped to be appointed the Secretary to the President.
