Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe appeared before the Presidential Commission probing corruption during the period between 2015-2018, this morning.
The Prime Minister was asked to make a statement to the commission on the government's decision to store paddy in a warehouse at the Mattala International Airport.
The commission is probing whether the decision was aimed at causing an intentional financial loss to the government.
The Prime Minister previously gave a statement to the commission on the controversial lease agreement of the Agriculture Ministry building in Rajagiriya.
