The Elections Commission has reported that during the period between October 8 - 10 a total of 269 complaints have been received by its monitors.

Of them, 05 incidents are related to election violence and 262 cases related to violations of election law.

The Elections Commission of Sri Lanka runs a national level and district-level machinery to gather complaints on incidents related to the incidents.
