Former President and Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa's second son, Yoshitha Rajapaksa's wedding ceremony took place in Colombo in the presence of friends and family.

Yoshitha Rajapaksa married Nithiesha Jayasekeea whom he got engaged to in July this year.

During the wedding ceremony, Yoshitha Rajapaksa was clad in Navy attire according to the Military tradition.

A few days before the wedding ceremony, Rajapaksa was reinstated to the Navy with a promotion as Lt. Commander.

He was suspended from the military service due to his alleged involvement in the CSN investigation.
