Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said the UNP, as a party, must decide its former General Secretary Tissa Attanayake's future involvement in the party.
Speaking to his close associates at Temple Trees today, Wickremesinghe said no one should make arbitrary decisions on Attanayake who left the party just four weeks before the last Presidential election.
The Prime Minister told them he informed the same to Sajith Premadasa who was at Temple Trees earlier today for a discussion with the Prime Minister.
Attanayake, issuing a statement earlier today, expressed his interests of joining the party, in support of its presidential aspirant Sajith Premadasa.
The former General Secretary was responding an invitation extended by Premadasa for everyone who deserted the party.
