Party leaders of the United National Front (UNF) are expected to meet today at 6 PM under the auspices of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The meeting is aimed at reaching a consensus on the party's Presidential candidate. Tamil Progessive Alliance (TPA) Leader Mano Ganesan said today's discussion would be a crucial one.

Meanwhile, UNP General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam said the Prime Minister told him that the party's presidential candidate would be decided next week.

The final decision on the candidate would be decided at the next Working Committee meeting.
