The Fort Magistrates' Court has said a decision on the custody of Easter Sunday terror attacks mastermind Zaharan Hashim's daughter will be made on August 21.

The terrorist leader's four-year-old daughter is currently in the care of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), which sought a court order to release the child to a guardian

Hashim's wife and daughter were taken into custody after a gun battle in Sainthamardu in the Eastern province, in which they sustained injuries

The terrorist leader's father and brother, who were also in the Sainthamardu safe house, detonated explosives to escape arrest, killing 15 people, including 6 children in the process.
