Hashim's wife and daughter were taken into custody after a gun battle in Sainthamardu in the Eastern province, in which they sustained injuries
The terrorist leader's father and brother, who were also in the Sainthamardu safe house, detonated explosives to escape arrest, killing 15 people, including 6 children in the process.
