Actress Sabeetha Perera will appear before the Presidential Commission probing corruption since 2015 to give a statement about her building in Rajagiriya that is rented out to the Ministry of Agriculture.
The building has caused a controversy as it has been rented out to the government at an exorbitant rate of Rs. 21 Million per month.
It is learnt that the actress has signed the lease agreement with the Agriculture Minister for the building in question.
Sabeetha Perera's husband is known to be a prominent businessman who maintains close ties with politicians from both camps.
The commission was appointed by President Maithripala Sirisena to probe corruption under the watch of the current government
