Veteran radio broadcaster Kusum Peiris passed away last night.

She was 74 at the time of demise.

Kusum Peiris was a prominent radio presenter attached to the state-run Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) and hosted many popular shows.

She is also a well-known lyricists who has penned a number of popular songs.
