The Sri Lanka Freedom Party has decided to vote in favour of the no-confidence motion against the government, moved by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna.
The decision was reached at a Parliamentary group meeting held by SLFP MPs this morning.
The vote on the No-Confidence motion is expected to be held this evening.
The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna's No-Confidence motion against the government was taken up for debate in Parliament yesterday.
The No-Confidence motion against the government was presented last month over the government's failure to ensure national security.
