Former Chairman of Rakna Lanka company Victor Samaraweera has been arrested till July 19 over the Avant Garde investigation.

Samaraweera surrendered himself to the Police yesterday and was produced before the court this morning.

Meanwhile, other suspects in the case including Avant Garde Chairman Nissanka Senadhilathy are currently overseas.

The Attorney General has ordered the Police to arrest Senashipathy and other suspects over the Avant Garde case.
