Two individuals who maintained close ties with National Thowheed Jamaath Leader Zaharan Hashim were arrested in Hingula, Mawanella today.

The arrests were made by a joint team comprising the TID and the Army, defence sources said.

Meanwhile, Police Media Spokesman said 102 suspects had been arrested in relation to the Easter Sunday attacks.

He said 77 of them were in the custody of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), and 25 in the Terrorist Investogations Division.
